  1. How do I change assignment details? 

    • Rates, Job Title, Dates, Payment Terms: If you've submitted your assignment and need to make changes to the rates, job title, dates, or payment terms, you can update these details directly in the assignment settings on the Sonovate platform. Specific instructions may be available under the "Assignments" section on their help site.
    • Client Entity, Supplier Record, Invoicing Frequency: Similarly, changes to the client entity, supplier record, and invoicing frequency can be managed by editing the respective fields in the assignment settings.
  2. How do I add a new timesheet authoriser?

    • To add a new TSA (Timesheet Approver), navigate to the relevant section in your Sonovate account where you manage assignments or timesheets. You'll need to input the new TSA's details.
  3. How do I add a new invoice contact?

    • If your client hasn't received an invoice, add a new invoice contact via the "Contacts" tab in the client profile and resend the invoice through the platform.
  4. How do I change the the client's work/ site location? 

    • For adding different site locations for your client, use the "Contacts" section in the client profile to add and manage work/ site details.
  5. How do I add a PO to invoices?

    • You can add PO numbers by going to the client's profile under "Contacts" and entering the PO numbers. These can also be added directly to assignments and timesheets​ (Managing Purchase Orders)​.
  6. How do I add VAT numbers to invoices?

    • To add your client's VAT number to invoices, edit the client’s profile under the "Contacts" section and add the VAT number in the relevant field.
  7. How do I check credit limits and remaining balance against a client?

    • Check your credit limit and remaining balance for a client by accessing the "Credit Control" section in your Sonovate account.
  8. How do I prevent workers from submitting expenses?

    • If your client won't accept expenses, you can configure the assignment settings to prevent workers from submitting expenses.
  9. How do I extend an assignment?

  10. Can I set up an assignment with weekly Payments and monthly invoices?

    • It is possible to set up your worker's payments weekly while invoicing your client monthly. Configure these preferences in the assignment setup.
  11. How do I update VAT details against supplier profile?

    • Update VAT details for the supplier by editing the supplier profile in your Sonovate account.
