Find out what legal check are required by Sonovate to complete when setting your business up on our platform

Sonovate is required by law to perform 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) checks. Sonovate collects KYC (Know-Your-Customer) information to complete checks that are legal requirement enforced by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

How you confirm your identity

• You will receive an email from Sonovate (hello@sonovate.com) with Identification Verification (IDV) link to confirm your identity. 

Please make sure you have one of the following to hand to complete process. 

• Valid passport
• Current full driving license (not a provisional license)
• Valid EU National ID Card (non-UK Nationals)
  
  

The IDV link will take you through the process.

Please note: In certain circumstances, our automated IDV software may not be able to fully validate your identity (such as a recent change of name or address). In such circumstances we will contact you for further information
