How to Create an Assignment

In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the process of creating an assignment to our portal. Let's get started!

 

1. Accessing the Assignments Tab

  • Begin by navigating to the assignments tab located in the navigation bar.
  • Click on "Add Assignment" to initiate the assignment upload process.

2. Assignment Details

  • Confirm the currency and add any necessary external references.
  • Choose the desired brand and add a commission for a sales consultant if applicable.
  • Click "Add Assignment" to proceed.

3. Filling Out Assignment Details

  • Under "Details," click "Add Assignment Details."
  • Enter the start and end dates along with the job title.
  • Click "Save" to add or edit the draft. You can also edit by clicking the three dots and selecting "Edit."

4. Setting Commission and IR 35 Regulations

  • If commission wasn't set previously, you can do it here.
  • Ensure compliance with IR 35 regulations if applicable.

5. Adding Client Information

  • Choose an existing client or enter details for a new one.

6. Adding Time Sheet Authoriser

  • Select an existing authoriser or add a new one.
  • Optionally, add a PO number and adjust invoice requirements.

7. Adding Workers

  • Choose an existing worker or add a new one.
  • Specify if the worker is employed by your business or a third-party supplier.

8. Setting Rates and Frequency

  • Enter pay rate, charge rate, and unit of measure.
  • Set time sheet frequency and expense permissions.

9. Finalising and Sending the Request

  • Review all requirements to ensure accuracy.
  • Click the link to send the request to join the time sheets portal.
  • Once the worker accepts the invite and logs in, they can input or upload their time sheets.
