Migrating workers to the new Sonovate timesheet app

We’re upgrading the Sonovate worker app as part of ongoing improvements to our payments platform.

This is a standard platform update designed to give workers a clearer, more modern experience, while enabling future enhancements to how payments and timesheets are managed. Importantly, this upgrade does not change how or when workers are paid.

Why we’re making this change

The new Sonovate timesheet app is built on our latest platform technology. It gives workers better visibility, a more intuitive experience, and creates the foundation for future improvements across payments and worker tools.

This upgrade ensures Sonovate continues to provide a secure, scalable, and modern payments platform for agencies and workers alike.

Do agencies or workers need to do anything?

Workers will receive simple instructions when it’s time to start using the new app. Until then, no action is required.

There is no risk to payments during the transition.

Can workers use both apps during the transition?

Yes. During the migration period, both apps connect to the same underlying system. This ensures continuity and avoids any disruption while workers move across.

Is moving to the new app optional?

This upgrade is part of Sonovate’s standard platform improvements. Over time, all workers will move to the new app to ensure everyone benefits from the latest functionality and future enhancements.
