This article outlines the options for scheduling payroll on the Sonovate platform
Introduction
With Sonovate's flexible payroll solution, you can decide exactly when to run payroll for your PAYE workers.
Your options for when you run payroll
If you are running weekly payroll through Sonovate, you have two options:
- The traditional schedule of:
- Payroll on Wednesday
- Get your workers paid by Friday
- A new, flexible way to run Payroll any day:
- Run payroll on any day you want, as often as you need
- Get your workers paid two days later
How to run payroll on any day
Sonovate's new Daily Payroll solution gives you complete control over when to run your payroll.
You can speak to us about configuring your schedule, to run payroll on any day of the week, as many times a week as you would like.
This means that when a timesheet has been approved, it will be processed that day (if approved before 2pm) and paid two days later.
This allows you to say goodbye to the headache and inefficiency of late timesheets and advances.
An example
Let's say you configure your payroll schedule to run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
- Most of your workers get their timesheets in and approved by Tuesday morning. They will all be swept up in your main run on Tuesday, and paid on or before Thursday
- Then one of your workers misses the deadline, but manages to get their timesheet approved by Wednesday morning - that timesheet would get swept up in your Wednesday payrun and paid on or before Friday
- This will all happen without any manual requests or intervention from you, as long as your payroll schedule is set to run on those days
